Sunday Jump is a community open mic series in Los Angeles. As a co-founder, I have worked on the event's branding and promotional items.
KmB / Pro-People Youth is a progressive Filipino-American youth organization based in the Historic Filipinotown neighborhood of Los Angeles. "Street Sixteen" was an image used to promote the 16th anniversary of the organization, with the graphic parodying the poster for Sixteen Candles. "Makiback to the Future" uses the imagery from Back to the Future and plays on the popular Filipino activist phrase "Makibaka" which means "Struggle" in English.
Currently, I serve as the Communication Design Manager for arc, where I have the wonderful opportunity to create aesthetically beautiful visuals to represent programming for the youth of Southern California. In the past, I have been a Digital Marketing and Staff Writer for ThirdAge Media, LLC and have over 8 years of experience as a designer and web developer (not counting when I first learned how to code in middle school!).
I am based in Los Angeles, California where I also perform as a spoken word artist with my husband in a duo known as Steady, co-direct an open mic series called Sunday Jump, and organize youth and students towards creating a more equitable society for everyone. I also love looking at pictures of fluffy doggies, eating ice cream, and teal is my favorite color.
